About Me
Hi, I'm Hiba Shaito, a Computer Science graduate from the Lebanese International University (LIU). I genuinely enjoy learning, experimenting, and building things with code—even if I’m still figuring a lot of it out.
During university and in my personal time, I explored many areas of software development. While I don’t consider myself an expert in any field yet, I’ve gained solid exposure to several technologies through student and personal projects. I’m currently interning as an AI Engineer and focusing my self-study on computer vision, an area I’m excited to continue developing my skills in.
Skills: What I've Explored
- Programming Languages: Java, Python, Dart, JavaScript, C#, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL
- Mobile Development: Flutter & Dart — including one app with Firebase and another using external API integration
- Web Development: Built websites and apps using HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP — including form handling, dynamic content, and responsive layouts
- Desktop Development: Created desktop applications using C# and .NET Framework
- Game Development (Learning Stage): Tried Unity and followed a full Godot course — made small games and learned basics of scenes, nodes, and scripting
- Data & AI: Took university courses in Machine Learning and NLP, built basic models, and worked with datasets. Currently studying computer vision and interning as an AI Engineer.
- Other Tools: Git, Firebase, Google Colab, XAMPP, Visual Studio, VS Code, Figma, Tinkercad, phpMyAdmin
A Few Things I've Worked On
- Mobile App Projects — Built with Flutter, including one connected to Firebase and another that consumed a public API.
- Web Apps — PHP + JS + HTML/CSS apps, including a task management website with form submissions and dynamic sections.
- Desktop Apps — Used C# and .NET to build a Library GUI-based applications as part of coursework.
- Games — Prototyped small games using Unity and Godot while exploring game mechanics and basic scripting.
